The clinical team at UTUT has spent countless hours training families and learners how to use the communication system in their daily lives.
UTUT support Proloquo2go’s innovative design and function. The app is designed to ensure growth of communication skills and to promote language development. It covers all levels, from beginning to advanced users, while catering to a wide range of finemotor, visual and cognitive abilities.
Proloquo2go training at UTUT includes, but is not limited to:
- Personalizing vocabulary
- Personalizing user settings
- Fast and easy editing
- System backup and retrieval
- Developing communication goals for the user
- How to implement communication strategies for the user
- How to grow functional communication skills
- How to incorporate Proloquo2go into the classroom, daycare, therapy, home and community

Training sessions are offered at Under The Umbrella Tree, however can take place in the client’s house, at the learner’s school/daycare, or remote via Skype or Facetime.
